Walk in interview for B.Pharm Apprentices at NMDC Limited

Incorporated in 1958 as a Government of India public enterprise, NMDC is India’s largest producer of iron ore. Since inception, the corporation under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel, has been involved in the exploration of a wide range of minerals including copper, rock phosphate, limestone, magnesite, diamond, tungsten and beach sands amongst others in some of the most remote corners of the country.

NMDC Limited, Bailadila Iron Ore Mine Kirandul Complex is conducting walk-in interviews for Graduate Apprentices, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, and Trade Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 (as amended), the Apprenticeship Rules 1992, and the VOAT (NATS/NAPS) Guidelines. The vacancies are detailed below.

Qualification Criteria : 
1. Candidates applying for (A) Trade (ITI) Apprenticeship mentioned in the above table must possess an ITI Trade Qualification Certificate (National Trade Certificate/State Trade Certificate) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)/State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) at the time of application. 
2. Candidates applying for Graduate Apprenticeship (B) mentioned in the table above must possess a Degree in Engineering/Technology from an Institute and must produce the Degree Certificate at the time of interview.  
3. Candidates applying for Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship (C) mentioned in the table above must possess a Diploma Certificate in Engineering/Technology from an Institute and must produce the Diploma Certificate at the time of interview. Candidates will be interviewed only on the basis of the prescribed qualifications mentioned in the advertisement.


Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates wishing to participate in the walk-in-interview for trade apprenticeships must register and get approved in advance on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) web portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
2. For Graduate Apprentice and Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeships, pre-registration and approval is required on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (nats.education.gov.in).
3. Engineering graduates or diploma holders or vocational certificate holders who have acquired/are pursuing/are already contracted or have one year or more of job experience after acquiring these qualifications will not be eligible for apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
4. Please ensure that the gap between the date of passing the examination and the date of contract entry is not more than 5 years.  If the difference in contract creation date is more than 5 years, the contract will not be created through the portal and joining as an apprentice will not be possible. Therefore, candidates with a difference of more than 5 years need not apply.
5. Candidates must not be less than 16 years of age as on the date of notification.
6. Selection for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per the Apprenticeship Rules 1992 and the quota prescribed by the Government of India.
7. Caste certificate for SC/ST will be valid only if issued by the competent authority in the format attached as Annexure II. If it is not submitted in the attached format at the time of interview, your candidature will not be considered for seats reserved for the respective category

8. Caste certificate for OBC category (non-Key Level) is valid only if the certificate is issued as per Annexure III.  This certificate must be issued by the competent authority in the enclosed format. This certificate must have been issued within 1 month from the date of notification. If it is not submitted in the enclosed format at the time of interview, your candidature will not be considered for seats reserved for the respective category.
9. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
10. All the above documents will be verified by the Interview Support Desk and Interview Board members. Candidates will be interviewed only after meeting all the criteria as per the advertisement.
11. Candidates may be rejected at any stage due to lack of evidence. The Apprenticeship Training Scheme does not guarantee employment upon completion of apprenticeship training. The duration of apprenticeship training will be for one year.
12. NDDC Limited, BIOM Kirandul Complex, reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process if circumstances so warrant, without assigning any reason.
13 The number of vacancies mentioned above is for reference only and may change later depending on the eligible candidates received or on preliminary evaluation.
14. Selection will be made on the basis of satisfactory document verification and interview.


Before the interview, candidates must ensure they bring the following documents:
a. Approved copy of the profile page of the registration certificate on the relevant web portal (NAPS/NATS).
b. Resume form (with one passport-sized photo).
c. 10th grade certificate/birth certificate for age proof. Original certificates are required for verification purposes.
d. Qualification certificates and caste certificates are required. Original certificates are required for verification purposes. Failure to submit these certificates will disqualify you from the interview and reserved seats respectively.
e. Candidates must fill out the online Google form provided by the Help Desk on the date of the interview.

Walk-in-interviews for the above-mentioned subjects will be held at the Training Institute, BIOM, Kirandul Complex, Kirandul Campus, District-Dantewada (CG-494556) on the dates mentioned against each category only, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates appearing for the walk-in-interview must register themselves at the Interview Help Desk and reach the venue before 1:00 PM. Reporting after 1:00 PM will not be considered. Candidates appearing for the interview will not be paid any kind of payment or reimbursement of TA/DA.

Stipend will be paid as per the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. Apprentices will have to arrange for their own accommodation during the apprenticeship training period.
