Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat in association with Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has established a NIDHI-TBI (Technology Business Incubator) named ASHINE (Association for Harnessing Innovation and Entrepreneurship). ASHINE, which is a section 8 (not-for-profit) company, aims to promote entrepreneurial activity on SVNIT campus and commercialization of R&D efforts across all the disciplines of Engineering and Technology including Energy, Environment and Manufacturing. It also extensively undertakes pre-incubation activities for SVNIT students under the SSIP policy of Government of Gujarat. It also envisions developing incubation activities in other sectors in coming years with support from various government/semi-government and private entities.
ASHINE, a NIDHI-TBI at SVNIT, Surat is looking for young and dynamic candidate for the following post
Post : Incubation Assistant (01 post)
Location of the job is SVNIT campus, Surat, Gujarat and familiarity of the applicant with'the city and surroundings will be preferred. The above post is purely contractual, and will initially be offered for a period of 11 months and extendable further as per requirement based on the satisfactory performance of the incumbent. Contract can be terminated with One-month notice from either side.
Eligibility Criteria Essential :
Educational
• Professional degrees like B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MBA/MS/PGDBM/M.Pharm/CA.
Experience
• The applicant must have minimum 1 year of overall work experience. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in incubation center or handling activities/responsibilities relevant to start-up ecosystem/technology commercialization/IPR.
Upper Age Limit : Less than 35 years.
Salary Range : Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000/- per month (all inclusive).
