The origins of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) are rooted in the Indian Cancer Research Centre (ICRC), which was established in 1952 in Parel, Mumbai, under the purview of the Ministry of Health, Government of India. In 1966, ICRC was renamed the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) and amalgamated with the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), creating the first comprehensive cancer centre in India - the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.

Project : “Centre for Advanced Research on Innovation in Diagnosis, Prognostication, and Monitoring of Acute Myeloid Leukemia”
Description : This is a five-year ICMR funded observational study on Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) for its ultra-rapid diagnosis and risk stratification that has both retrospective and prospective components. You will be required to recruit patients following ethical committee guidelines in the study, closely coordinate with clinicians and researchers for patient follow-up, maintain clinical records and patient inventory, ensure timely documentation and smooth clearance of ethical assessments annually for seamless study progress.

Essential Educational Qualification : Mandatory -1 OR 2 :
1. Three years graduation degree in clinical research + Three years post qualification experience.
OR
2. M.Sc in clinical research or M.Sc. in any branch of life sciences with PG diploma in clinical research
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 36,400/- p. m. (Rs. 28,000/-+30%HRA).
Age : Maximum age limit in years 35.
Duration : Six months and extendable.
The work progress of candidates will be monitored and extension may be given after six months.


Eligible candidates may attend the walk in interview on Wednesday, 29th October, 2025 and report at Conference Room (ARB 115), R. Chidambaram Shodhika (Archival Building), ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai- 410210 along with recent CV, original and xerox copies of all certificates and testimonials with recent passport size photograph and ID proof. (Preferably Aadhaar Card).
