NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application to the post of “Project Associate I (Project)/ RA – I ” on Contractual basis through Manpower agency for a project titled “Craving, Physiological, and Reward Dynamics in Odor Simulated Virtual Reality Environment”.
Name of the post: Project Associate-I (Project)/ Research Assistant – I
No. of positions: 01 (One)
Essential Qualification: Masters’ degree in Life Sciences or related field/Cognitive Science/Bioinformatics/Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in clinical data acquisition. Experience in data processing. Candidate should be highly motivated to work in an academic environment.
Fellowship: (i) ₹ 31,000/- (Consolidated) pm for those who have qualified any of the national level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions (CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE, JGEEBILS, DBT / ICMR-JRF or similar).
(ii) ₹ 25,000/- (Consolidated) pm for those who do not fall under (i) above. No other allowances are applicable.
Age limit: Maximum 35 years (as on the last date of receipt of application)
Project Investigator: Dr. Khushbu Agarwal, Scientist III, NBRC
Tenure: The tenure will be for one year and renewable for one more year upon successful review of performance. The post is co-terminus with the project.
Accommodation: Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to availability.
Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs 200/- only in favour of National Brain Research Centre (SC/ST/PH Candidate fees not applicable)

1. No TA/DA will be payable to the candidates for attending the interview
2. Only candidates who are shortlisted will be called for an interview
