The Department of Health Research (DHR) under the Department of Health and Family Welfare (DoHFW) initiated the Centre for Evidence-Based Guidelines (CEG) in February 2023. The CEG is mandated to systematically review available evidence, apply the GRADE methodology, and develop robust guidelines. It also engages in training sessions and workshops to enhance expertise in systematic reviews and evidence synthesis. In September 2024, the Centre launched 27 Technical Resource Centers (TRCs).Five specialized research hub swere also established to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based decision-making.

Walk-in-Interview applications are invited among the eligible candidates in the prescribed Proforma for the following vacancy in the project titled “Technical Resource Centre under Centre for Evidence based Guidelines” at Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, to be filled on purely temporary basis till March 2026, extendable based on performance and/or availability of funds.
Age limit (years) : 50
Essential or desirable qualifications and experience : Essential : 1. Postgraduate degree in Public Health (MPH)/Epidemiology/ Statistics/Environmental Sciences/Population Sciences/Demography/Health Economics/HTA/Pharmacy(M.Pharm) with 3 years of post PG experience in research/ projects and at least one research paper in SCIE journal OR
2. MD/MS/MDS or PhD in Public Health/Statistics/Epidemiology/Health Sciences
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidate with :
1) Publications (Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis) as first or corresponding author in SCIE Q1 journals.
2) High-level expertise for conducting data analysis using R Programming, STATA and/or Python.
Consolidated Salary per month : INR 67,000/-+ HRA (as applicable)
Job description :
• Develop and register technical protocols for conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses
• Undertake systematic review and meta-analysis of the topics decided by the Technical Resource Centre (TRC)
• Manuscript writing of the evidence synthesis projects
• Planning and organisation of the training programs and workshops on systematic review and other evidence
• synthesis topics under the TRC
• Convene and/or attend meetings, trainings and webinars of the TRC as decided by the Principal Investigator
• Report writing for the TRC activities at intervals decided by the Principal Investigator
• Managing the day-to-day functioning, activities and record-keeping of the TRC
• Any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the Principal Investigator
Terms for Application and Interview Process :
1. Interested candidates should walk in for an interview with a completed application form (Attached as Annexure) along with photocopies of the required documents in hard copy on October 11, 2025 (Saturday), from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the following venue: MPH Phase-1, Upper Basement, Phase-1, ILBS.

3. Appointments under the Technical Resource Centre project will be initially till March 2026. Based on performance and/or the availability of funds, appointments may be extended until the completion of the project.
4. No travel allowances (TA/DA) will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.
