Post : Research Assistant - III
NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application for the position of “Research Assistant -III under NBRC Core funds through Manpower contract agency - project entitled “Understanding role of metabolism in glioma progression”
Essential Qualification : • M.Sc with 4 or more years research experience
Desirable experience : • Expertise in Cancer Biology with strong background in cell culture, Western blotting, confocal microscopy and immunoprecipitation is desirable. Additional experience in sample preparation for mass spectrometry, and handling of human tissue samples will be considered an advantage.
Fellowship : Rs. 42,000/- (Consolidated)
Age limit : Maximum 35 years (as on the last date of receipt of application)
Project Investigator : Prof. Ellora Sen
Tenure : The tenure will be for a period of one year extendable another 2 years based on performance review and validity of the project. The post is co-terminus with the project.
Accommodation : Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to availability.
