All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.
Post : Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for CONTRACTUAL post in ICMR Research Project, project code: 1-1788. Details are as follows

Duration : 6-months, extendable up to 2 years
Salary : As per ICMR guidelines.
Age : As per the ICMR norms, Relaxation as per the rules of ICMR/AIIMS
Eligibility : Master degree in life sciences or biotechnology, or molecular biology or genetics (1st Class) from a recognized university with 2 years’ research experience in relevant project
Or
2nd class master’s degree with PhD in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable : Preferable in epilepsy research and hands-on experience in cell culture (neural cell lines), clinical sample collection, processing and molecular biology techniques.
