The Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) is an Autonomous Institution [under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Registration No. S-21944/1991)] under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. It was established in May’1991 and in this short span, it has emerged as a reputed institute among the pesticide formulation and analytical R & D centres of India.

Senior Project Associate (01 post)
Qualification & Experience : Essential : B.Tech / M.Sc. in Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences (Toxicology, Pharmacology, Zoology, Limnology or Ecology) or M.Pharm or equivalent from a recognised university. Experience : Minimum four years of experience in conducting Ecotoxicology studies as per OECD GLP compliance. Desirable : Working Experience in Aquatic, Terrestrial and Avian Ecotoxicology field and handling of Bird, Fish (Daphnia Zebra), Earthworm, Honeybee etc as per OECD principle.

Senior Project Associate (01 post)
Qualification & Experience : Essential : B.Tech/ M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biological Sciences (Toxicology, Pharmacology, Zoology), Biotechnology or M.Pharm or equivalent from a recognised university.
Experience : Minimum four years of experience in auditing/conducting GLP studies i.e. Physical- chemical including five batch analysis, residue studies, Ecotox studies, and Mutagenicity studies as per OECD GLP principles. Desirable : Good knowledge of OECD GLP Principles, Attended GLP training programme conducted by NGCMA. Well versed with the testing procedures/guidelines for auditing the GLP studies.

Senior Project Associate (01 post)
Qualification & Experience : Essential : (i) M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University. (ii) Four years of experience in R&D related to the Chemical Warfare Agents/Synthesis of Organic Compounds. OR Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University. Desirable : Experience in R&D related to the Chemical Warfare Agents/Synthesis of Organic Compounds.

Qualification & Experience : Essential : M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy from a recognized university with ICAR/UGC/CSIR-NET or GATE qualified. OR M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy from a recognized university.
Preferable Qualification : Ph.D. Agriculture in Agronomy.

Qualification & Experience : Essential : B. Desirable : • Auditing experience in GLP compliant lab.
• Knowledge of OECD GLP principles.

Project Associate –I (01 post)
Qualification & Experience : Essential : M.Sc./MCA or B.Tech. (Computer Science) or equivalent from a recognized university with UGC-NET or GATE qualified. OR M.Sc./MCA or B.Tech. (Computer Science) or equivalent from a recognized university with 2 years of experience in the area of computer field i.e. data backup, troubleshooting, maintenance of computers.
Desirable : • Experience in data backup, validation, operation, maintenance and security of computers and computerized system as per OECD GLP principles.

Age Limit (Maximum) : 35 Years*
Research Associate (RA) – MPRNL (01 post)
Qualification & Experience : Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences/Agriculture Chemicals. OR M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences/Agriculture Chemicals with minimum three years of research experience in relevant area.
Desirable Experience : Experience in Pesticide Residue analysis and handling of analytical equipments like LC-MSMS and GC-MSMS & writing of project report, manuscript for publication etc.
Remuneration (Rs.Per Month) : 54,000/- + HRA OR 49,000/- + HRA
Age Limit (Maximum) : 40 Years*
Assistant (01 post)
Qualification & Experience : Minimum Graduate from the recognised University or equivalent with minimum one year work experience in the Purchase/Admin Section of Government Establishment or Private Sectors of repute and having knowledge of working on computer application like MS Office/Excel and PPT. Preference will be given to the candidates, who have working knowledge for operation of GeM.
Remuneration (Rs.Per Month) : 30,000.00
Age Limit (Maximum) : 35 Years*
* The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Ex-Serviceman (ESM)/Woman/OBC as per norms of the Government.
General Instructions
1. The above positions are purely temporary in nature and on contract basis with co-terminus on completion of the projects/requirements and non- transferable to any other projects.
2. The above positions are initially for a period of one year extendable further based on continuation of project(s)/requirements and subject to satisfactory performance of individual.
3. The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of interview. The eligible candidates may appear before the selection committee for interview on the date and time mentioned above. Candidates must bring with them a duly filled application form given below, with original & attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. along with a recent passport size photograph. However, the candidates residing other than the location of Delhi NCR are allowed to opt the mode of interview through “ONLINE” and required to submit their application format duly filled and send through Email on ipft@rediffmail.com on or before 27 th October, 2023 citing the subject request for “Online Interview”.
4. Any amendment/modification in the context of the advertisement would be uploaded in our website of IPFT (ipft.gov.in).
5. The Institute reserves the right to fill or reject all or any specific posts as notified in the advertisement. The candidate who are not found fully meeting the prescribed experience criteria for each post and found suitable can be considered for next lower post as per the recommendation of Selection Committee.
6. The numbers of vacancies are indicative and may be increased or decreased. The number of post/s advertised is provisional and can be varied as per the requirement of the Institute.
7. It may be noted that offer of contractual hiring/appointment against the advertised post/s will not confer any right on the selected candidates for absorption in IPFT or claiming any status whatsoever.
8. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
9. No TA/DA shall be payable for attending the interview.
