Regional Centre for Biotechnology is an institution of national importance and statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.
Post : Project Research Associate-I
Title of Project : Elucidation of the functional interactome of legumes with the fungal pathogen Erysiphe pisi as keys to powdery mildew disease resistance.
Duration : Until the end of the project duration (29th Dec, 2023).
Age Limit : 35 Years
Essential Qualifications : PhD in Life Sciences. Minimum 60% marks in Masters or equivalent degree. Demonstrated experience (substantiated by first author publication) in plant molecular biology and confocal microscopy. Experience in cloning, plant pathology, and NGS is essential. Candidates with good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently are preferred.
Emoluments : Rs. 47,000/- + 16% HRA per month
