Jawaharlal Nehru University is the foremost university in India, and a world-renowned centre for teaching and research. Applications are invited for the following temporary posts in Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project entitled “In-vitro and in vivo study of 4G mobile phone radiation on reproductive system” at School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi.
The selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis. Initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance. The fellowship/ salary scale will be as per the sanction in project. The duration of the project is for three years.
Research Associate - (1)
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences/ Life Science/ Allied Subject or M.Sc./M. Tech/ M Pharma with 3 years of experience. Candidate should have at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Desirable Qualification : Preferences will be given to candidates having Ph.D. with specialization in Reproductive and Radiation Biology with atleast one SCI publication in the relevant area.
Junior Research Fellow - (1)
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. or M. Tech. with first division in Zoology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or any Branch of Life Sciences with NET / GATE qualification.
Desirable Qualification : Candidates with working experience in Radiation Biology and animal handling will be preferred.
