The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the new state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) and the Bombay Public Trust Act (1950). Its Governing Council is headed by the Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, Government of India.

Post : Junior Research Fellow

To work on project entitled : 'Targeting residual resistant tumor cells in glioblastoma by identifying their unique surface proteome"

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: M.Sc. or equivalent in Life Sciences/Basic Science with minimum 60% marks with ICMR/UGC/CSIR/DBT NET qualification.
* M.Sc. degree having duration of one year course will not be considered. Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest; hence results-awaited candidates will not be eligible to apply for the post.

CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs. 25,000/- + 30% HRA=32,500/-per month.

DURATION: Six Months

Eligible Candidates may attend the walk in interview on Monday, 5th November, 2018 at Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC along with recent CV & original and attested copies of all certificates and testimonials with recent passport size photograph.
