Mumbai Port has long been the principal gateway to India and has played a pivotal role in the development of the national economy, trade & commerce and prosperity of Mumbai city in particular. The port has achieved this position through continuous endeavor to serve the changing needs of maritime trade. Though traditionally designed to handle general cargo, over the years, the port has adapted to changing shipping trends and cargo packaging from break bulk to unitisation/palletisation and containerisation. Besides, it has also developed specialised berths for handling POL and chemicals. For decades, Mumbai Port was India’s premier port. Even today, with the development of other ports, it caters to 10% of the country’s sea-borne trade handled by Major Ports of the country in terms of volume. It caters about 19% of POL Traffic handled by Major Ports.

Essential
i) SSC or its equivalent qualification.
ii) Registered Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948.
iii) One year’s experience as a Pharmacist.

Age limits
Minimum-20 years
Maximum-30 years

Consolidated Remuneration
Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 10,000/- They will not be entitled to any other benefits in the MbPT service.

The selection will be based on the merit of the candidate’s obtained marks on the basis of educational qualification Experience and other activities etc.

Mumbai Port Trust require Nursing Sister Trainee -25 and Pharmacist Trainee -05 for its well- equipped, modem Mb.P.T. Hospital at Nadkami Park, Wadala (East). The vacancies will be filled up for period of eleven months or handing over of the hospital whichever is earlier.

On or before 05.11.2018 at 5.00pm. (except 2nd and 4th Saturday and Public Holiday). Application received by this office after due date and time will be rejected.
