National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Qualifications:
EQ: Should have completed M.Pharm/ M.S. Pharm. degree in Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
DQ: Experience in molecular modeling
Consolidated pay per month: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (if applicable)
Period: 9 months
Applications are invited for JRF position in a DST project (no. GP-391) entitled “Divalent N(I) compounds among therapeutic agents: An Electronic Structure and Reactivity Study” at Department of Medicinal Chemistry (NIPER). The available positions are purely temporary for 9 months or till the end of project. Interested candidates with consistently good academic record may appear for WALK IN INTERVIEW on 26th Oct. 2015 at 3.00 pm with CV and attested copies of certificates along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- (Rs 25/- for SC/ST/PH) favoring the Director, NIPER payable at Mohali/ Chandigarh. Reservation for SC/ST/PH is as per GOI Rules. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification for the post. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
