Project Associate-I (One)
Project Title : Discovery of a new lead candidate Targeting Drug-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus
Reporting PI : Dr. Sandipan Chakraborty, Senior Principal Research Scientist I, Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences, Hyderabad
Fellowship Duration : 3 years. Initial appointment for 1 year; extendable depending on satisfactory yearly performance.
Stipend and other allowances : Rs. 31,000 +27%HRA per month
Qualifications : Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences /MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Linux OS and biomolecular simulation, AI/ML applications in Genomics, and computer-aided drug discovery. Applicants with UGC-CSIR NET (JRF) /DBT-JRF scores will be preferred.
Age Limit : 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes/Scheduled Tribes/OBC, physically handicapped, and female applicants.

Qualifications : Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (MSc) in fields relevant to Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences or an allied discipline, with a good academic record; recent graduates are preferred. A valid NET qualification is desirable but not mandatory. Prior hands-on experience in standard biochemical and molecular biology techniques (such as protein expression, PCR, cloning, bacterial cell culture, etc) will be an added advantage.
