Opportunity for Pharm.D or MSc under HTAInRegional Resource Centre, AIIMS

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) - Guwahati, an autonomous Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare - Government of India, was established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) in May 2017. The foundation stone of the Institute was laid by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on May 26, 2017. The Institute has been set up with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education. The Institute intends to develop model patterns of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches to demonstrate a high standard of medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions in India.

Applications are invited for the below mentioned contractual posts in AIIMS Guwahati for the study on “Costing of Health Services in India-2”also known as “Costing Studies-2.0” in Department of Pharmacology, under HTAInRegional Resource Centre, the Scheme code: 3461-Establishment Expenditure and Health Research,funded by the Department of Health Research DHR, ICMR New Delhi.

Research Assistant (one post)
Qualification (Minimum) : Essential: • Age : Not more than 40 years (as of last date of application)
• Master in Science /Relevant subjects from a recognized University OR Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) from a recognized institution WITH 3 years of work experience from a recognized institution.
Monthly Salary (INR) : 50,000/-

Field Investigator (two posts)
Qualification (Minimum) : Essential: • Age : Not more than 35 years (as of last date of application)
• Graduate in Science / relevant subjects from a recognized University with 3 years of work experience OR Master in Science / relevant subjects from a recognized University from a recognized institution
OR Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) from a recognized institution
Monthly Salary (INR) : 35,000/-

Area of Operation : Assam
Duration of Project : 12 months.
Mode of interview : Physical/Online

Notes
1. Only short-listed candidates will be allowed to appear in the interview.
2. Those who are already employed/working under various research schemes and desire to be considered for the post should submit their applications through proper channel to the undersigned with a certificate from the employer/P.I. that he/she will be relieved immediately, if selected.

4. The position is purely temporary. The tenure of all candidates selected for this project is co-terminus with the project duration. Upon completion of the project, the appointment will automatically end.
5. The Principal Investigator has the right to terminate the tenure with one-month notice and vice versa.

Mode of Interview : Physical/Online (A subsequent physical practical skill demonstration session may be conducted for the interview shortlisted candidates, if required, at the discretion of the Selection Committee.)
