Opportunity for B.Pharm, MSc in Division of Germplasm Evaluation, ICAR-NBPGR

National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi and Bioversity International-India, New Delhi in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Association for Agricultural Research Institutes Bangkok, are organizing the Eighth International Training Course on In Vitro and Cryopreservation Approaches for Conservation of Plant Genetic Resources’ from Nov. 5-19, 2019.

Applications are invited to attend the online interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a time bound research project for a temporary period, purely on contractual basis as per following details at NBPGR, New Delhi as mentioned below.

Essential qualification
The minimum qualifications are BS 4 years programme/ BPharm/ MBBS/ Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test. Or Post Graduate Degree (with 55% marks) in Basic/Allied Sciences (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Material Science/ Environment Science/ Any discipline of Life Sciences) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Material Sciences etc.) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE

Desirable Qualification : Candidates with research experience in analytical techniques in Biochemistry/Chemical Science.
Age limit : 28 Years
Age relaxation : The upper age limit is relax-able up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/women and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000 p.m + HRA (as per CSIR rule)

Terms and Conditions
• Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility like age, qualification etc. at csirhrdg.res.in/ before appearing for the interview
• Candidates having essential qualification will only be considered for interview.
• No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
• The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project; selected candidate has no right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in ICAR/NBPGR
• The decision of Director of the institute will be final and binding in all aspects.
• The Director shall also reserve the right to terminate the contract of job as mentioned above, even before the completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be made
• Candidates are required to bring the relevant certificates/ mark sheets etc in original along with an application with full bio-data enclosing photocopies of certificates and mark sheets from matriculation onwards duly attested affixing a passport size photograph on the top. The selected candidate will be required to produce medical certificate at the time of joining.
• In case of any disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Delhi court only.
