Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Project Research Scientist-II (Non- Medical) and Project Nurse-IV under ICMR funded project titled “Exploring the Role of Human Gut Microbiome and Metabolites in Ulcerative Colitis: An approach Towards Clinical Implications and Precision Medicine” at the Department of Gastroenterology, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal.
Post : Project Research Scientist-II (Non- Medical) (Position: 1)
Essential Qualification : PhD (Bioinformatics, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences)
• Gut microbiome analysis (shotgun metagenomics, taxonomic and functional profiling)
• Metabolomics data analysis (LC-MS, GC-MS, NMR)
• Multi-omics data integration (microbiome–metabolome correlations, network analysis, and machine learning-based integration)
Desirable :

Remuneration : Rs. 67,000 + 10% HRA (Rs.73,700/- pm)

Duration of engagement : Initially for a period of One year and extendable upto three years based on the performance in the first year and need of the project.
