Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP) is a well established institution of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida having a high profile with interdisciplinary areas of specializations in Pharmacy. Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) had approved intake of 100 students for the course of Bachelor of Pharmacy. AIP offers post graduate courses including Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Management, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry and also Ph. Post : Faculty Assistant Professor
Seeking highly qualified and motivated faculty members with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics
Key Responsibilities
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Pharmaceutics.
• Guide students in laboratory sessions, project work, and dissertations.
• Develop effective teaching–learning methodologies and academic materials.
• Supervise Ph.D., M.Pharm, and B.Pharm students, as applicable.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
• Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences.
• Assist in departmental administrative activities assigned by the Head of Department.
• Ensure compliance with PCI/AICTE/University guidelines and academic standards.
Required Qualifications
• M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics from a recognized institution
• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics (preferred / as per UGC/PCI norms).
• Strong academic background and a passion for teaching and research.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
Desired Skills
• Expertise in Drug Delivery Systems, Pharmaceutical Technology, and Formulation Development.
• Familiarity with modern analytical and formulation equipment.
• Research experience with publications in indexed journals.
• Ability to handle laboratory equipment and maintain lab safety protocols.
• Strong mentoring, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
