Advertisement for MSc in Life Sciences / Biotechnology for Bronchiectasis research at KGMU

Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post of Junior Research Assistant under the project entitled "Immunomodulatory role of B cell-stimulatory cytokines BlyS and APRIL in Periodontitis and periodontally affected Bronchiectasis patients" (Project id 5375) sanctioned by Council of Science and Technology, U.P. under the supervision of Dr. Abhaya Gupta (Principal Investigator), Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontology, King George's Medical University, U.P., Lucknow.

Post : Junior Research Assistant (One post)

Only Indian citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for Research Assistantship in the research project funded by CST-UP. Appointment will be made initially for the period of one year. Extendable on yearly basis depending upon the performance of the candidate. The selected candidate cannot claim for regular appointment as the post is coterminous with the project.

Emoluments : Rs. 25000/- pm for first 2 years & Rs. 28,000/-pm for 3rd Year

Essential Qualifications : Master's Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology from a recognised University or any other equivalent degree with 1st Class in graduate and post-graduate course.

Desirable Qualification : Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques

Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on 1st April, 2025.
Duration : 3 years
