Established on October 1, 1933 as University Department of Chemical Technology (popularly called UDCT) of the University of Bombay (now Mumbai), with the noble intention of advancing India’s knowledge reserves in chemical science and technology, the Institute has grown to become a premier (deemed) university devoted to education, training, research and industrial collaboration in chemical engineering, chemical technology, applied chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology and bio-processing. The then UDCT grew in stature over the years and was granted partial autonomy by the University of Mumbai in 1985, which was taken to the next echelon under the concept of autonomy propagated by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Applications are invited for the post of Project Fellow
Project Title : Development of Standardized Herbal Nutraceutical Products
Sponsor : M/s Cherish Pharma, Pvt. Ltd.
Principle Investigator : Dr. Galvina R. Pereira No. of Positions : 01
Project Duration : 6 months (extendable to 3 years)
Qualifications : Master of Pharmacy
Remuneration : Rs. 15,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Experience : Candidate must have completed a Master of Pharmacy or submitted Master’s thesis
The project fellow will be appointed initially for 6 months, and the tenure may be extended based on performance for the appointment period. All appointments are terminated at the end of the project. (Project duration three years)

The interview will be held online after receiving and short listing of candidates. Selection will be based on an interview conducted by a committee. The recommendation of the committee will be final. No TA/DA will be provided to appear for this interview.
Candidates possessing a valid ICT Ph.D Pharmacognosy entrance score may be considered for Ph.D under supervision of Dr. Galvina Pereira subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
