Name of Project : Unravelling Biochemical Pathways of Protein Interactions and Drug Targets in Cancer via Live-Cell Imaging.
Name of Sponsoring Agency : DBT-Govt. of India through Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship Project grant
Duration of the Project : 1 year (extendable, with PhD pathway depending on progress)
Fellowship / Monthly compensation : Rs. 25,000 per month (Consolidated)
Essential Qualifications : MSc in Bioinformatics/Biotech/Life Sciences or related fields or M. Tech in Biotechnology Experience Python, MATLAB, Chimera/PyMOL (mandatory), understanding of protein biochemistry is a must.
Strong Interest to learn the cell cultures (bacteria/insect/mammalian) & super-resolution microscopy (training will be provided).
Preference will only be given to those candidates who will pursue a PhD under the same project under the guidance of Dr. Debabrata Dey in AICCRS, Amity University. CSIR and UGC NET Fellowship holders will be given preference and will be supported as supervisor for a PhD.
