Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of one (01) Junior Research Fellow in the DBT project and one (02) Project Assistant to work on a UCOST-sponsored project. The selected candidates have to work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar Campus. He/She may be reshuffled to collaborative institutes if required during the duration of the project.
No of post : 01 JRF and 01 Project Assistant
Junior Research Fellow (01)
Remuneration : Rs. 31000/month + HRA
Qualification : • M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Chemistry OR any relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks in the concerned subject.
• Candidate should have qualified for GPAT.
Project Assistant (02)
Remuneration : Rs. 8000/month
Qualification : B.Pharm / M.Pharm (Completed / Ongoing) / M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Chemistry OR any relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks in the concerned subject.
• Candidates with knowledge of natural products and drug development will be preferred.
Note
1. The position is purely temporary. The initial appointment will be for six months, which is extendable to the end of the project based on performance.
2. The selected candidate may be considered for admission to the Ph.D. program as per the institute's eligibility, rules, and statutes.

Screening & Interview Process : Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and as per the requirements of the project. Mere qualification of the eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting. The interview shall be tentatively conducted in the last week of November 2025 through online/offline (hybrid mode). The details of the exact date for the interview will be intimated to all the shortlisted candidates in advance via e-mail only. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview in physical mode. Candidates who are already employed should produce a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) from the employer.
