Vacancy for Senior Research Fellow, Project Assistant at KGMU

K.G. Medical College has contributed immensely in the education and training of thousands of graduate and post-graduates who have brought glory and laurels to their Alma mater by the academic and professional excellence. On 16th September 2002 an Act was passed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh resulting in a major milestone in change in the history of the institution in converting and upgrading it as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University. On the demand of the general public and more than 40,000 Georgians the world over, teachers and students of the University, the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the last week of October 2003 decided to revert the name of the medical university from C.S.M. Medical University to K.G. Medical University.

Applications on the plain paper are invited for a purely temporary post of one Senior Research Fellow (Non-Medical) and one Project Assistant (Non-Medical) in the directorate of Extramural Research & Intellectual Property Right, Defense Research & Development Organization, New Delhi sponsored research project entitled “Studies of Circulating miRNA 126 and 122 in patients with Coronary Artery Diseases Implications for Cholesterol & Lipid Dynamicas of Plaque Angiogenesis” under the supervision of Dr Wahid Ali, Associate Professor, Department of Pathology, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow.

Appointment shall be made initially for a period of one year, extendable for further one year depending upon the performance of the candidate. The selected candidate can not claim for a regular appointment as the posts are co-terminus with the project.

Senior Research Fellow
Salary : (INR 28,000/- p.m. plus HRA @ 20%)
Duration : 01 year
Qualification & Experience : Essential: M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry/Biotechnoiogy/Molecuiar Bioiogy/Life Sciences.
Desirable : M.Sc. (as above) with NET or SELET qualified.
Experience : 02 years research experience

Project Assistant (One post)
Salary : INR 12,000/- p.m.
Duration : 01 year
Qualification & Experience : Essential: M.Sc. (Life Sciences)

Note : The upper age limit of the candidates should not be more than 32 years as on 22nd November 2017.
