Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar is one of the eight new IITs set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to expand the reach and enhance the quality of technical education in the country. This institute is committed to providing state-of-the-art technical education in a variety of fields and also for facilitating transmission of knowledge in keeping with latest developments in pedagogy.

Applications are invited for the position of JRF to work in DRDO sponsored project title – “Design, synthesis and development of chemosensor for explosive materials, ware-fare chemicals and organophosphates” under the supervision of undersigned [Project No. ERIP/ER/1500486/M/01/1625]. The position is temporary and is available immediately. The selected candidate may be permitted to register for PhD program as per the existing institute rules.

Essential Qualifications: As per DRDO guidelines
JRF: 1) M.Sc. or equivalent degree with 60% marks and must have qualified NET/ GATE.
2) M. Pharm/ M. Tech in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology with 60% marks.

Emoluments: As per DRDO rules.
