The National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) had been set up in 1992. NIB is an apex autonomous institute under the administrative control of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India. The Institute is located at A-32, Sector-62, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh in an area of 74,000 Sq. M. The Institute is performing primary statutory function of Quality Control of Biologicals e.g. Insulin, erythropoietin, blood products, diagnostic kits e.g. HIV, HBV, HCV, therapeutic monoclonal antibodies like Trastuzumab and Rituximab used in cancer treatment etc. in accordance with provisions of Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940 and Rule 1945 amended from time to time.
SUMMER TRAINING-2026 AT NIB
Eligibility criteria : Students pursuing Graduation/Post-graduation in subject of Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics or related subject leading to B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech / B.Pharma / M.Pharm./equivalent degree, and have obtained above 60% marks in their previous semester.
Application for Summer training
• The applicants are requested to register on the NIB website Training portal nib.gov.in/UpcomingTraining. > Summer training 2026
• Scan & upload the duly filled application form & documents on NIB website Training portal
• The website for uploading the application form will be open from: 07th April to 15th May 2026.
• Incomplete application or application received after the last date, will not be Considered
• Only the selected candidates will be informed via official e-mail.
Summer training fee : • The selected candidates need to deposit training fee: Rs 2000+18% GST = Rs 2360. before joining the training.
Duration of study and attendance : Students admitted will be required to work fulltime at NIB for a duration of six weeks.80% attendance is mandatory.
Accommodation :
• Hostel accommodation on sharing basis is available on NIB campus and will be allotted as per the written request and assessing the requirements.
• Institute has limited hostel facility which may be allotted as per availability on Chargeable basis.
Other necessary guidelines :
• In case of any medical emergency during training period, the Participants shall bear the medical expenses.
• Fee shall not be refundable; in case the students decide to discontinue their Training in- between for whatever reasons.
