Essential Qualification : M.Sc./M.Pharm/M.S. in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Pharmacognosy/ Natural Products Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification : Research experience/knowledge of Organic Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry will be preferred.

Desirable Qualification : Candidates having experience in cancer biology, cell culture techniques, molecular biology techniques, in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies, animal handling, drug screening assays, and bioanalytical techniques will be preferred. Knowledge of drug evaluation, data analysis, and scientific documentation will be an added advantage.

General Terms, Conditions & Instructions
1) The project positions are for the duration up to one year can be extended, if the performance is found to be exceptional by the performance appraisal committee and shall be decided as per CSIR rules for engagement of project staff.
2) The tenure of engagement shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances shall the total tenure exceed six years, including engagement in all CSIR labs. Performance will be reviewed periodically and unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination without any notice or reason.
3) The position(s) are purely temporary and are on behalf of the sponsor and, therefore, not confer any right on the incumbent(s) to any claim, implicit or explicit, for absorption on any post in CSIR-IIIM/CSIR.
4) Candidates will have the option to interact in English/Hindi before the Selection Committee.
5) Relaxation in age limit will be given as per Govt. of India Rules. Age will be reckoned as on the date of the Interview.
6) Upon selection/empanelment, the original documents, including eligibility qualification, DOB, caste, and age relaxation certificate, will be verified; if any discrepancy is found, the selection/empanelment shall stand cancelled.
7) The number of positions may vary depending upon the project requirements at the time of Interview.
8) The Director, CSIR-IIIM reserves the right to not to fill any or all advertised positions.
9) Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification for the positions.
10) Candidates currently engaged in any project at CSIR-IIIM must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) before applying for any new vacancy. Applications/ candidature/ selection of such candidates will only be considered if the NOC has been issued by the office.
