Essential Qualification : M.Sc./M.Pharm/M.S. in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Pharmacognosy / Natural Products Chemistry/ Biotechnology from a recognized university or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification : Research experience/knowledge of Organic Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry will be preferred.

Project Associate -I (One Position)

Essential Qualification :M.S./M.Pharm/M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Zoology/LifeSciences/ Biochemistry from arecognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification : Candidate having experience in: 1. Rodent animal handling and conducting in-vivo experiments. 2. Experience in basic cell culture and molecular biology techniques.

II. Doctoral Degree in Science/ Pharma/ MD/ MS from a recognized University or equivalent & Two years experience in Research & Development
Desirable Qualification : Research experience/ knowledge of Organic Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry will be preferred.
Upper Age Limit : 40 years

Project Assistant- II (02 Position)

Essential Qualification : B.Sc. Agriculture/Botany from a recognized institution
Desirable Qualification : Field research experience in medicinal and Aromatic Plants. The candidate will work at CSIR-IIIM Branch Lab, and/or its various farms, for the implementation of the project work. The candidates may need to travel extensively to implement project objectives.
Upper Age Limit : 35 years
Stipend (per month in ₹) : i) Rs. 20,000/-+ H.R.A*

General Terms, Conditions & Instructions
1) The engagement will be untill the duration of project(s) only. The current duration of the project(s) is upto 31.03.2027.
2) The tenure of engagement shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances shall the total tenure exceed six years, including engagement in all CSIR labs. Performance will be reviewed periodically and unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination without any notice or reason.
3) The position(s) are purely temporary and are on behalf of the sponsor and, therefore, not confer any right on the incumbent(s) to any claim, implicit or explicit, for absorption on any post in CSIR-IIIM/CSIR.
4) Candidates will have the option to interact in English/Hindi before the Selection Committee.
5) Relaxation in age limit will be given as per Govt. of India Rules. Age will be reckoned as on the date of the Interview.
6) Upon selection/empanelment, the original documents, including eligibility qualification, DOB, caste, and age relaxation certificate, will be verified; if any discrepancy is found, the selection/empanelment shall stand cancelled.
7) The number of positions may vary depending upon the project requirements at the time of Interview.
8) The Director, CSIR-IIIM reserves the right to not to fill any or all advertised positions.
9) Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification for the positions.
10) Candidates currently engaged in any project at CSIR-IIIM must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) before applying for any new vacancy. Applications/ candidature/ selection of such candidates will only be considered if the NOC has been issued by the office.
11) Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
12) No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview
