Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for project position(s) as per the details given below for the consultancy/research project(s) under the Principal investigator (Name: Prof. Saugata Hazra), Dept./Centre Biosciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
Title of project : "Development and evaluation of a Bioink containing human lipoaspirate derived adipocyte stem cells in silk fibroin gel for 3D bioprinting of skin-construct: an in-vivo study”
Sponsor of the project : ICMR, New Delhi
Qualifications :
Essential: 1. First-class postgraduate degree in Biotechnology.
Desirable: PhD in biophysics/biochemistry with at least two first-authored research publications in a reputed peer- reviewed journal. Experience with biophysical techniques, including ITC, MST, SPR and different relevant spectroscopies. Expertise in construct design, protein engineering, cloning, protein expression, and purification. Software expertise in CCP4i2, COOT, PYMOL, and bioinformatic analysis will be desirable.
Preferred : Hands-on experience in X-ray crystallography (protein crystallization, data collection, structure determination, and refinement).
Duration : One year with possible extension of the project
Job description :
i. Basic molecular biology, protein biochemistry, biophysics work, cloning, protein engineering
ii. Protein purification, biophysical/ biochemical techniques
