Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad (Formerly known as Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences “Deemed to be University", Karad) was declared as “Deemed To Be University” under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 by Ministry of Human Resources Development vide Notification No. F.9-15/2001-U.3 dated 24th May 2005, having its registered office at Near Dhebewadi Road, Malkapur 415539, Tal. Karad, Dist. Satara hereinafter referred to as "KVV (DU)". It is now renamed as Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) vide Notification dated 21st November 2022 by the Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, ICR Division, Government of India on the recommendations of UGC.

Recruitment of the Junior Research Fellow (Non-Unani) in Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine CCRUM-Funded Research Project: TECH-21/10/2026-CCRUM-HQ Online applications are invited from eligible, interested and motivated Indian nationals for the CCRUM-funded research project as per the following details.

Title of the Project : Scientific Validation and Mechanistic Insights into Unani Remedies for Psoriasis: Focus on NF- κB, IL-23/Th17 Axis, and Keratinocyte dysregulation 
Principal Investigator : Dr. Somnath D. Bhinge, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad 
Co-Principal Investigators 
1. Dr. Jyotiram A. Sawale, Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy, Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad 
2. Dr. Humaira Bano, Research Officer Unani Scientist Grade (S4), Resgional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (Co-location Research Centre), J. J. Hospital Compound Byculla, Mumbai 
3. Dr. Balasaheb Siraskar, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad

Project Tenure : 1 Year and extendable to 3 Years 
Job Description : The selected candidate will perform formulation, advanced characterization, in vitro and in vivo evaluation, and multi-omics data generation and interpretation to elucidate target and therapeutic mechanisms. The candidate will analyse, interpret the data, will carry out documentation, report and manuscript writing. The candidate may also be assigned other tasks as directed by the research center and relevant authorities. 
Qualification : First-class in M. Pharm/M.S. Pharm/M. Tech with specialization in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or equivalent (GPAT/GATE/NET qualified and/or PhD submitted or awarded will be preferred) 
Desirable : In addition to the above qualification, candidate with hands-on experience in RT-PCR and/or next generation sequencing (NGS) is encouraged to apply
Upper age limit : 30 Years on the date of application
Fellowship / Salary details : Junior Research Fellow - I (Non-Unani): Rs.37,000 + HRA (10%) = Rs. 40,700 per month
