Dibrugarh University, the easternmost University in India, was established in 1965 consequent upon the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. N.B. i) In respect of appointment of Associate Professor & Professor a minimum of two and three publications respectively indexed in Scopus/ Web of Science is mandatory.
ii) Mere fulfillment of the Minimum Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC Norms) shall not entitle an applicant for consideration to be called for interview. The decision of the Screening Committee(s) for shortlisting of candidates shall be final and binding.
Note : Candidates who have applied earlier for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Petroleum Technology vide advertisement no. A-3/2026 dtd. 20.02.2026 no need to apply again and their candidature will be considered if found edible.
