Project Title : Investigating the role of Inosine in mitigating decreased innate immunity response in ischemic stroke following chronic kidney disease
Principle Investigator : Dr. Pallab Bhattacharya, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, NIPER-Ahmedabad
Engagement Tenure : One year
Salary : Rs. 56,000/- p.m. plus HRA as applicable
Essential Qualification : (1) First-class postgraduate degree including the integrated PG degree.
(2) Second-class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with Ph.D.
Desired Work Experience : The candidate must have experience in various techniques in molecular biology (Cell culture, rt-QPCR, Western-blot, Flow cytometry, RNA extraction, ELISA, Histological staining etc). Should have firsthand experience in small animal handling and small animal surgery, a fair knowledge of molecular mechanism elucidation, statistical data analysis, etc. Knowledge on neuroscience and stroke will be preferred. At least 1 research publications in the field of stroke biology as first author in journal. of repute.
Other Terms & Conditions : The position is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project.
