All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.

Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for following contractual posts for a Department of Biotechnology (DBT)-funded project titled “Deciphering the contribution of proestrous-estrous transition to seizure susceptibility in drug resistant epilepsy pathologies” at the Department of Biophysics, AIIMS, New Delhi.

Essential Qualifications : i) Master’s degree in Medical Biophysics / Biochemistry / Zoology / Neuroscience / Biomedical Sciences or any other branch of Life Sciences or M.Pharm (Pharmacology)
ii) Scholars who are selected through (a)National eligibility tests-CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE/GPAT or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
iii) Candidates should have an experience of at least 2 years in the field of molecular or cellular neuroscience

Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience of working with animal models
