Opportunity for B.Pharm, MSc to work in CSIR-HRDG sponsored research project at AIIMS

The Pradhan Mantri Swasthya SurakshaYojana (PMSSY) was announced in 2003 with the objectives of correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable/reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment facilities for quality medical education in the country. AIIMS, Bibinagar is one of the apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the PMSSY. To facilitate the creation of very important institutions in the country, the Government of India has legislated AIIMS Act under which AIIMS are established. In terms of the provisions of the Act, these new AIIMS are called Institutes of National Importance and are to function as Autonomous Institutions under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time bound CSIR-HRDG sponsored research project (Project code: 37WS(0125)/2023-24/EMR-II/ASPIRE) for a temporary period, purely on a contractual basis, as per the following details.

Project Title : ‘Role of Nerve growth factor and its receptors in spontaneous early pregnancy loss: An immunohistochemistry-bascd analytical study on products of conception’
Department : Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine
Project Tenure : 24 Months (or Co-terminus with Project)

Nature of appointment : * The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis and the position is coterminous with the project. The performance of JRF will be evaluated on a regular basis and continuation will be based on satisfactory performance.

Job Description : To perform work assigned and assist the PI/ Co-Pi in various phases of the research project. Proficiency in data collection and handling, and statistical skills are desirable.

Essential Qualification : Minimum Qualification : B.S. 4 years program /BPharm/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET / GATE test.

Age Limit : JRF-28Yrs

Age relaxation : The upper age limit is relaxable up-to 5 years in the case c5f candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.

Fellowship : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)- Rs.37,000/-p.m.

Selection process
• The applications will be scrutinized by the Screening Committee and only eligible candidates with applications complete in all respects will be called for interview.
• The list of candidates found eligible for interview will be displayed on the college website. The candidates are advised to check the college website aiimsbibinagar.edu.in for the date, time, and venue for the interview. Tentative date of interview is 24.06.2025.
• A written test followed by an interview will be conducted if there are more than. 50 eligible candidates the post.
• Candidate selection is purely on a merit basis and subject to verification of all original documents and fulfillment of required eligibility criteria in all respects.
• Selected candidate(s) will be notified through email and the interview result will be uploaded on the AIIMS Bibinagar website.

Terms and Conditions
1. The above post is purely on a temporary contract basis under a funded project and not employment on AIIMS Bibinagar payroll.. The contract is co-terminus with the completion of the project and there is no liability for further assignment or permanent employment on Principal Investigator/AIIMS Bibinagar
2. Persons already in regular time-scale service under any government organization/ department are not eligible to apply.
3. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
4. The Principal Investigator/Head of the Institute has the right to accept/reject- any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence will be entertained in this matter.
5. The submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
