Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University invites applications from eligible candidates for faculty Positions at the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences MCOPS, a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal. MCOPS started offering Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) education in 1963 and became a degree college for Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program in 1965. Eventually, MCOPS became the first college to offer a postgraduate course (MPharm) in Karnataka in 1970 and the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program in 2008 in India.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, an Institution of eminence deemed to be University, invites applications for the post of Project Research Scientist I (JRF) for the ICMR funded research project in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal.
Project title : “Technologies for Screening and Remediation of Colistin and Doxycycline from hospital effluents”
Duration of engagement : Initially 1 year (further extendable based on the performance and requirements of the project)
Eligibility: M.Tech in Instrumentation/Electronics Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Environmental Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering or M.Sc in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ BioPhysics/ Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Science or related fields.
Knowledge domain required : Applicants should have a working knowledge on either of the following: analytical instrumentation/ optical sensors/ electronics/ biotechnology/ biochemistry/ environmental engineering/ nanotechnology for material synthesis and characterization/ Analytical quantification of antibiotics from aqueous phase.
Job description : The job would require integration of electronics, nanotechnologies and conjugation chemistries for sensor development and preparation of functional nanomaterials.
