Founded and led by Dr. DVK Raju, Biological E. Limited commenced its operations in 1953 as a biological products company manufacturing liver extracts and anti-coagulants. With an objective of transitioning from treating diseases to preventing them, Biological E. Limited launched its Biotechnology Division (now Vaccines and Biologics Division) and commenced large-scale production of DPT vaccines as early as 1962.
Biological E. Limited (BE) invites experienced, dynamic, and self-motivated professionals with 2 to 10 years of experience for the following positions in its Vaccine and Pharma SGI businesses, located in Shamirpet, Hyderabad.
Production (Injectables)
Designation : Sr. Executive/Executive/Sr. Officer/Officer
Qualification : M.Pharmacy / B.Pharmacy / M.Sc. / Diploma / B.Sc.
The candidate must possess the following skills : Experience in manufacturing, compounding, filtration, filling, washing, lyophilization, sealing, and pre- and post-production activities. Isolators experience would be preferable.
Quality Assurance (QA) - In Process Quality Assurance (IPQA)
Designation : Dy. Manager / Asst. Manager / Sr. Executive/Executive
Qualification : M. Pharmacy/ B. Pharmacy/ M.Sc. (Life science) / B. Tech / M.Tech (Biotechnology)
The candidate must possess the following skills :
• Drug Product : Execute Fill-Finish activities, including reviewing SOPs, batch records, validations, and media fills; clearing lines for filling operations; managing changes, deviations, 00S investigations, and trend analysis.
• Drug Substance : Execute activities for Bulk Viral Antigen production, line clearance, dispensing, review and approval of batch records. The duties include managing SOPs, PV, CV, and APS documents; managing QMS; conducting trending and batch release activities; overseeing and reconciling master and working cell banks.
Quality Assurance (Validation)
Designation : Sr. Executive/Executive
Qualification : M.Pharmacy / B.Pharmacy / M.Sc. /B.Tech
The candidate must possess the following skills: a Experience in preparing, reviewing, and executing qualification/validation protocols and reports for compliance.
• Responsible for reviewing preventive maintenance schedules, calibration schedules, calibration certificates, validation protocols, and log books related to engineering.
Quality Control (Biologics / Vaccines)
Designation : Asst. Manager/Sr. Executive/Executive
Qualification : M.Sc. (Life science) / B.Tech /M.Tech (Biotechnology)
The candidate must possess the following skills :
• Biochemical Assays: Estimating the components in polysaccharides,
as well as biochemical analyses such as protein, nucleic acid, aluminium content, and composition analysis. Validating analytical methods, adhering to ALCOA principles, conducting 00S, and 00T investigations.
• Instrumentation Testing: Analytical instruments such as HPLC and 1C
are used to perform instrument-based assays, including molecular size, aggregates, purity, and composition analysis. Basic troubleshooting, 21CFR Part 11, audit trial review practices, ALCOA principles, OOS, 00T systems, and investigations.
• Virology: Experience in in-vitro viral testing of starting materials, raw materials, in-process, final bulk, final lot, and stability samples for viral vaccines. Evaluate the testing for the QC release of products, RM/stability studies of Viral Vaccines, and new projects/Products.
