The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad is a Research Institute under Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, that has been established to provide services in DNA fingerprinting and diagnosis of genetic disorders, and to undertake high quality basic research in frontier areas of modern biology.

Hire the following Technical Associates to be deployed at our client, Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics, an R&D Centre under BRIC, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India located in Hyderabad as per the following qualifications & experience.

Technical Associate - 02 posts
Essential Qualification : M.Sc / M.Tech with 3 years of experience in conducting scientific experiments / operating scientific equipment.
Desirable Experience : Hands-on-experience in Molecular biology techniques including nucleic acids manipulations, Sanger and Next generation sequencing, genotyping, application of statistical tools for genotypic and population analysis and handling of bones, extracted body parts, crime scene samples, preserved specimens for nucleic acid profiling and genotyping.
Remuneration : Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 44,900/- per month + EPF (Based on experience).
Job Description :
Processing of blood samples, body parts, skeletal remains, preserved specimens, admixture samples, vaginal smears, saliva samples, semen stains and other biological evidence provided by the law enforcing agencies / collected from crime scene for nucleic acid isolation, manipulation, genotyping and analysis of the data, establishing DNA-based population database for different Indian populations, writing of DNA examination report, deposition of evidence in the Court of Law and interaction with law enforcing personnel.

Technical Associate : 01 Post
Essential Qualification : M.Sc / M.Tech with 3 years of experience in conducting scientific experiments / operating scientific equipment.
Remuneration : Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 44,900/- per month + EPF (Based on experience).
Job Description : Assist in Scientific and services laboratories in CDFD as well as in facilities such as the Sophisticated Equipment facility, the Experimental Animal Facility, the BSL - 3 and Genomics facility.

Technical Associate : 01 Post
Essential Qualification : M.Sc / M.Tech with 3 years of experience in conducting scientific experiments / operating scientific equipment.
Desirable Experience : Experience in Drosophila Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry is preferred.
Remuneration : Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 44,900/- per month + EPF (Based on experience).

Technical Associate : 02 Posts
Essential Qualification : M.Sc / M.Tech with 3 years of experience in conducting scientific experiments / operating scientific equipment.
Desirable Experience : Experience in handling at least two of the following equipment proficiently:
DNA sequencers, Flow Cytometers, HPLC, FPLC, Confocal Imaging Systems etc.
