Post : Scientist B (Molecular Diagnostics)

Applications are invited from suitable qualified and experienced candidates, in a standard proforma for the following post on contract basis.

Age : 18-35 years
Pay : Consolidated pay of Rs. 60,000/- per month on contract basis.
Tenure : One Year

Qualifications & Experience :
M.Sc from recognized University in Medical Genetics / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology with 2 years experience or Ph.D (Medial Genetics / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biotechnology).
It is desirable that the candidates have experience in Molecular Diagnostics (PCR, NGS), Flow Cytometry, Transplant Immunology.

Job Description :
1) To isolate DNA, RNA and Cell free DNA from blood, body fluids and tissues.
2) To establish and perform molecular diagnostic tests (PCR/NGS based)
3) To establish and conduct transplant immunology test
4) To perform Flow cytometer based tests.
5) To teach and train residents, research students, technical course students, and technical staff in Molecular diagnostics /transplant immunology/ flow cytometry techniques
6) To train and teach the research students to execute research projects, and monitor the supply of laboratory reagents and consumables
7) To write projects for funding agencies, conduct research, and publish papers in molecular diagnostics /transplant immunology /flow cytometry
8) Establish newer technologies related to molecular diagnosis and transplant immunology
9) To establish a lab accreditation process and be able to address QA/QC-related issues in molecular/flow cytometry/transplant immunology
10) Experience in NGS and Flow cytometry, HLA typing is preferred.

4) Selection by written examination and / or interview will be based on number of applications received from the candidates." "
5) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the examination / interview or for joining the post.
6) The date, time, and place of the examination / interview will be communicated via phone / email.

8) The posts are whole-time and outside job if any kind is prohibited.
