Consequent to the reform in power sector in Odisha, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. (OHPC) was incorporated in 21 st April 1995 under the companies Act 1956. Its objective are: To acquire, establish, operate, maintain, renovate, modernize in the State of Odisha and else while hydro electric generating stations, thermal and nuclear electric generating stations and any other electric generating stations based on any non-conventional sources of energy.

Applications are invited from the intending eligible candidates for engagement as Pharmacist in Project Hospital, Bariniput. Dist , Koraput functioning under Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. purely on contractual basis as follows.

Eligibility Criteria
1. A candidate must have passed +2 Science Examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha/ equivalent.
2. Must have Diploma in Pharmacy/ B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) from any Govt. Medical College and Hospitals of the State/ any other recognized private institutions duly approved by A.I.C.T.E. and examination conducted by the Odisha Pharmacy Board.
3. A candidate must have registered his/her name in Pharmacist Council in the State and possessed valid registration certificate.

General Terms and Conditions
1. The appointment shall be purely on contractual basis for a period of one year from the date ot actual joining of the appointee and shall not confer any claim/right for regular employment in future. The appointee shall have to execute an undertaking in this regard. However, the engagement period is likely to be extended after one year.
2. The Candidate applying for any post must be a citizen of India.
3. The Candidates should have registered their names in an Employment Exchange in Odisha.
4. The Candidate shall not be below 21 years of age and above 32 years of age as on 01st
June 2025. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SEBC/ SC/ ST/ Women, 10 years in case of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and the total period of service rendered in Defence Service in case of Ex-Servicemen.
5. The Date of Birth entered in the High School Certificate Examination by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent Certificate issued by the recognised Board/ Council/ Indian University shall only be accepted.

6. A candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia AND Must have passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject; OR Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subject; OR Passed in Odia as language subject in the examination of Class-VII or above from a School or Educational Institution recognised by the Government of Odisha or Central Government- OR Passed a Test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.
7. Preference will be given to the candidates with experience.
8. If married, must not have more than one spouse living.
9. No TAJ DA will be allowed at any time in course of interview.
10. Rent free accommodation will be provided at UKHEP, Bariniput subject to availability of Quarters in accordance with OHPC Accommodation Rules.
11. Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification of a candidature.
12. OHPC reserves all rights to cancel/ modify the whole or part of Advertisement without assigning any reason thereof. It also reserves the right to accept/ reject any application without assigning any reason thereof.
