The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.

Essential Qualification
• M.Sc.(Life Sciences), MA(Social Sciences), Master in Medical Social Work degree holders.
• Desirable : Master’s degree in Psychology with experimental Psychology as one of the subject with diploma in Medical (Clinical) psychology or recognized institute/university.
• Two years research experience OR
• MBBS/BDS/MVSc/M.Pharma/ME/M.Tech Degree in holder
Age : Upto 35 years
