Post : Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB-DST (New Delhi) sponsored purely time bound project undertaken at FMD Research Centre, ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bengaluru. The position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, which is extendable up to three years (may be SRF in third year), solely based on performance.
Title of the Project : Development and evaluation of a nanocarrier based novel foot-and-mouth disease virus vaccine for non-parenteral delivery.

Essential Qualifications : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR,, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable Qualifications : i. Working experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques. ii. Scientific writing skill
Age limit : 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of advertisement
Salary/Emoluments : As per DST norms, Rs 31000 per month + HRA as admissible
Relaxation on qualification and age : SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates will get relaxation as per Govt. of India Rules.
