National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) under the aegis of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (Department of Pharmaceuticals), Govt, of India, is an institute of National Importance created by an Act of Parliament devoted to the promotion of pharmaceutical education and research. The Institute is located at SAS Nagar, adjoining the beautiful city of Chandigarh. It is ideally placed for intellectual interaction with the several medical, scientific and technological centers. The Institute has a pleasing campus with fully equipped laboratories and instructional facilities and necessary housing provision. The mandate of the Institute is to create human resource of a high caliber to serve the academic institutes and the Indian pharmaceutical industry and the profession, undertake cutting edge research & development in the area of drugs & pharmaceutical and help the Indian pharma industry achieve its goal to become a global player.
Post : Research Fellow
Applications are invited for one position of Research Fellow under a project entitled “Clinical evaluation of formulations based on NanoCrySP technology”, funded by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), GP-429 New Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Arvind K. Bansal.
Minimum Qualification : M.Pharm
Age limit : Below 30(age relaxation of SC/ST/PH as per GoI rules
Duration of Project : 14 months
Role of Project : To provide formulation development and manufacturing support to industry partner
Salary : 28000/- (20% HRA)
The walk-in-interview will be held on 23rd May, 2018 (Wednesday) from 4:00 PM onwards in the Conference Room No. 310, Department of Pharmaceutics. Candidates should bring an application with detailed bio-data, at the time of interview, giving details of educational qualification, experience (if relevant) with name of the Institute, post held, caste certificate (if applicable) etc. Name and contact details of at least two referees, who can be contacted for recommendation, should also be included.
Application should be accompanied by demand draft for Rs. 50/- in favour of Director, NIPER”, drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Mohali/Chandigarh. No application fee for SC, ST, PH and female candidates. Reservation of SC, ST and PH is as per GOI rules. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
