Project Title : Validation of a Translatable Chronobiological Signature of Early Relapse in Bipolar Disorder
Job description : • Experiments on Actigraphy measurements, transcript, and metabolite level studies (Please see essential experience)
• Documentation of the paperwork of the project and communication with clinical collaborators
• Data analysis, presentation of work, and manuscript writing.
• Any other work related to the project or as assigned by the PI.
Period of Appointment : The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis for 11 months, starting as soon as possible and extendable for another 2 years based on performance and funding.
Remuneration : INR 30,000/- to INR 37,000/- + 27% HRA (37000 + HRA for CSIR/UGC NET Qualified, otherwise, 30000 + HRA)
Required Qualifications : • M.Tech/ M.Sc./ M.Pharm/ BS-MS/B.Tech/BE in any branch of life sciences/biotechnology or related disciplines with CGPA>7 (>70%) from a recognized university/institute.
• Qualification for National Eligibility Tests - CSIR/UGC NET (including lectureship), GATE, DBT, ICMR (Not mandatory)
Essential Experience : Candidates with prior research experience (one year or more) in the following areas will be
given preference.
• Experience in mental health (specifically bipolar disorder)
• Experience in circadian biology and sleep research
• Experience in clinical projects involving human subjects
• Experience in mass-spectrometry-based metabolomics
• Experience in molecular biology techniques such as RT-PCR, Western blotting
Age Limit : Not more than 28 years as on the last day of application, relaxations for SC/ST/OBC as per standard government norms.
Selection Procedure : Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their academic records and relevant work experience.
