The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the state of art of R&D wing of the Tata Memorial Centre. It is located in the picturesque settings at the foothills of the Sahyadri mountains in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. ACTREC comprises of, the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), Clinical Research Centre (CRC) and Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE), a setting that is unique in India and built and evolved with a vision to provide comprehensive cancer care to one and all, through its motto of excellence in services, education and research.
Post : Project Research Scientist-II - 01 Post
Project Title:- “CTC-GLOWTECH: Development of a reporter-based liquid biopsy application in preclinical mouse model” [ICMR funded EMR]
Essential Educational Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate Degree holder including the integrated PG degree with minimum five years of research experience OR PhD degree awarded in chemical biology / protein chemistry or allied biomedical field.
Preferred experience : Candidate should preferably have a PhD degree with high quality publication record in chemical, biological, biomedical or material science areas. The person should be self-motivated, goal-oriented and team-player, with hands on experience in protein chemistry, protein linking strategies and molecular imaging. Strong analytical skills along with demonstrated skills of written and oral presentation is expected as well.
*M.Sc. degree having duration of one year course will not be considered. Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest.
Salary : Rs. 87,100/- p.m. (Rs. 67,000+30% HRA).
Age Limit : 38 Years
Duration : Six months and extendable.
The work progress of candidates will be monitored and extension may be given after 6 months.
