Eligibility and desirable criteria for 02 Project Technical Support 3 under Extramural Research Grant from ICMR-Investigator Initiated Research Proposals - Small Grant (Purely temporary basis) (Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis)

Project title : Affordable and Rapid Quantification of Total Lipid Profile Using a Paper-Based Microfluidic Device Coupled with Electrochemical Detectio 
Duration of project : Three years 
Salary : Rs. 28,000/- + 30% HRA, Total Rs. 36400/- per month for two years with an increase of 5% in third year

Position 01
Qualification : Essential : 
•First class post-graduate degree (M.Sc./MS) in Life Sciences, Clinical Chemistry 
• First-class post-graduate degree (M. Tech.) in Biomedical Engineering/ Bioengineering/ Biotechnology/ Medical Devices. 
Desirable : • Experience/ Knowledge in Electrochemical Sensors, Bioanalysi, Blood Analysis, Lipid Profiling. 
• Experience on paper-based devices will be added advantage. 
Age limit : 35 years 
Job profile : The Project Technical Support 3 (Non-Medical) team member will be involved in optimizing and characterizing paper-based devices. He/she will be responsible for validating the paper- based assay and the fabrication process. They will work extensively on designing, fabricating, and standardizing devices, as well as validating and comparing the standard method. They will also compare the electrochemical detection system and readout with the other Project Technical Staff in the project and also work in ESIC hospital with the Co-PI with real samples.

Position 02
Qualification : Essential : 
• First-class post-graduate degree (M.Tech./M.Sc.) in Biomedical Engineering/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/ Medical Devices/Physical Chemistry/Electrochemistry/Nanomateials 
• First class Graduate degree in Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) in Biomedical Engineering/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience
Desirable : Experience/ Knowledge PCB design, 3D printing enclosures, low-power electronics enables compact, battery-operated handheld Electochemical Sensor, Cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy.
Embedded programming (Arduino/Raspberry Pi), data acquisition, Real-time profiling and Bluetooth output
Age limit : 35 years 
Job profile : The second Project Technical Support 3 requires a background in Biomedical Engineering/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/ Medical Devices/Physical Chemistry/Electrochemistry/Nanomateials for building and assembling colorimetric and electrochemical readouts, as well as integrating optical sensors, potentiostats, and embedded controllers. He/She will assist in firmware and software development, particularly for calibration modules that estimate concentrations from the electrochemical responses of enzymatic reactions. Performing testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and validation of the hardware prototypes against standard methods. Supporting the team in preparing production drawings, interfacing mic ocontrollers, and maintaining prototype reproducibility for technology transfer.
