NIAB Recruiting PG degrees in Life Sciences candidates to work under the ICMR funded project

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling the following positions at the BRIC- National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, against the ICMR funded project entitled “A Genome-Wide Transposon Mutagenesis Approach to Identify Hypervirulence- Associated Genes and Live Attenuated Vaccine Candidates for Combatting Mycobacterium orygis-associated Tuberculosis” PI - Dr. Bappaditya Dey.

Post : Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical) : 1 position

Essential Qualification : Post Graduate Degree, including the Integrated PG degrees in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and related subjects in Biological Sciences) from a recognized university.

Desirable qualification : Candidates with experience in working in BSL3 laboratory with Mycobacterium tuberculosis based research will be preferred along with experience in cell culture, animal experiments, immuno assay ELISA/FACS, and Molecular biology.

Fellowship amount : Rs.56000 + 30% HRA (As applicable)

Maximum Age Limit : 35 years

Tenure : One year, likely to extended based on performance and co-terminus with the duration of the project (until Jan, 2029)
