Raja Ramdeo Anandilal Podar Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Mumbai (RRAP-CARI) is one of the peripheral institutes under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. This institute was established in December 1986 in the Podar Medical Campus, Worli, Mumbai. This institute has been maintaining its status as Central Research Institute for Ayurveda in the region and undergoing a continuous process of up-gradation as per requirements.

Qualification :
Essential : A life sciences degree from a recognized University.
Desirable :
i. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualifications,
viz. Master's in Life Sciences and has previous clinical research experience, i.e., having worked for any research project funded by
the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST, or equivalent
organizations, and working experience in nutrition and dietics.
ii. Skill of Drafting/editing of scientific documents/articles/Technical Reports.
iii. Publication in peer-reviewed journals. Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Age Limit : Maximum 35 years
Remuneration : Rs. 42,000 + HRA (30%) (per month (consolidated)
Interested Candidates fulfilling the qualifications prescribed above are requested to appear for an interview on the dates shown above in the table against the posts, with their application in the prescribed format, two passport-size photographs, and self-attested photocopies of relevant certificates at the above-mentioned address, along with Original Certificates for verification.
General Conditions :
1. The eligibility of the candidate in respect of age will be determined as on 01.01.2026. (Relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC as provided in the Govt of India orders)
2. The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the respective project. No claim for continuance or regular appointment will be entertained.
3. The Selection Committee has the right to select or reject the application of the candidate without assigning any reason thereof.
4. No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the interview.
5. Extension of tenure may be considered on a need basis and based on the performance of the incumbents.
6. Claims for continuance or regular appointment will not be entertained.
7. The number of posts may be increased or decreased at the discretion of CARI, Incharge.
