Salary : Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA (Revision awaited) Total Rs. 46,990/- per month."
Qualification Essential :
• First-class post-graduate degree (M.Sc./MS) in Life Sciences
• First-class post-graduate degree (M. Tech.) in Biomedical Engineering / Bioengineering / Biotechnology / Medical Devices
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with the development of LAMP-based assay
Desirable :
• Experience/ Knowledge in molecular biology tools, such as LAMP, checkerboard ELISA
• Experience/ Knowledge in working with latral flow assay
• Experience on paper-based devices will be an advantage.
Age limit : 35 years
Job profile
The JRF will optimize fabrication processes for paper-based microfluidic and lateral flow devices. Key responsibilities include :
• Designing, fabricating, and characterizing paper-based and LFA devices for simultaneous detection of multiple viral agents.
• Development of LAMP assay for Multiple Viral Agents.
• Standardizing and validating devices through comparison with ELISA and paper- based LAMP assays (developed at NIPER Hyderabad).
• Testing with real clinical samples, including frequent travel to DRDE, Gwalior, for analysis. This role suits candidates skilled in microfluidics, molecular biology tools, LAMP assay development, checkerboard ELISA, and LFA, and hands-on prototyping.
