Established in 1889, the IVRI is one of the premier research institutions dedicated to livestock research and development of the region. Post : Project Research Scientist II (Non medical)
A walk-in interview has been scheduled to be held at Committee room of CADRAD, ICAR- IVRI, Izatnagar Bareilly (UP) for engagement of contractual staff under ICMR sponsored “Creation of National network of existing and upcoming high risk pathogens laboratory (BSL3/4) labs across departments and keeping their interlinkages functional for use during outbreak response across sectors” under NOHM component of PM-ABHIM. The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. No separate letter shall be issued for appearing in the interview.
Salary : Rs 67000/+HRA
Qualification : 1. Post Graduate Degree including the integrated PG degree with three years post qualification experience or PhD.
2. For engineering IT / CS graduate degree of four years with three years post qualification experience
Desirable : 1. Working experience in handling highly pathogenic viral pathogens in BSL2 and BSL3 facilities
2. Working experience in molecular assays especially in real-time PCR for pathogen detection
3. Working experience in recombinant DNA technology and cell culture
4. Sound knowledge in computers including data mining
