Applications are invited (in walking interview mode) from motivated and research-oriented candidates for the following purely temporary position under an ICMR-funded research project. “Targeting Glutamate Decarboxylase to Overcome Mycobacterial Persistence and Drug Resistance: Exploring New Horizons in Anti-TB Therapeutic Interventions”. Funding Agency: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), India
Post : Project Technical Support – III
Emoluments : Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA @ 20% (As per ICMR norms)
Tenure : Maximum 03 years or the total duration of project. Initial appointment for 1 year. Progress will be evaluated every 06 months.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm/ MS in: Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology or any other relevant branch of Modern Biology (relevant branches will be determined solely on the basis of project requirements as determined by PI) with 1st division (minimum 60% marks or equivalent). Preceding degree should also be 1st division.
Desirable Qualifications : NET/GATE or equivalent qualifications. Candidates with experience in Molecular Biology techniques/ Cell Culture/ Mycobacterial research will be preferred
Nature of Appointment : Purely temporary, Co-terminus with the project, No claim for regular appointment
