Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work on the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India sponsored project under the supervision of Dr. Manoj P. Dandekar in Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, NIPER Hyderabad for a period of 1 year as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) as per the eligibility criteria of DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019 for JRF/SRF/RA.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Title of the Project : Impact of STN and ALIC Deep Brain Stimulation on cognitive improvement in obsessive-compulsive disorder model.

Essential Qualifications : Post-Graduate degree in Basic Science/ Post-Graduate degree in professional course as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019.
Desirable : M. Pharm. / M. S. Pharm with Pharmacology specialization is preferable. Candidate must have qualified at least in one of the GPAT/GATE/CSIR/UGC/ICMR entrance tests with the age limit as per DST norms on the last date of the application. Age relaxation will be provided as per DST, GoI norms. Expertise in in-vivo studies, rodent’s neurobehavioral assessments, stereotaxic surgery, molecular techniques (RT- PCR, western blot, immunohistochemistry, etc) as well as candidates with sound knowledge and demonstrated experience (e.g. Masters project thesis) in the field of neuropsychiatric disorders are preferred.
Salary : 31,000/- per month (plus HRA as per norms)
